I highly recommend that you use your holiday to pick olives in the beautiful Camarles. We drove a perfect interaction between relaxation, work and excursions, and rarely have I met a more interesting and knowledgeable person than Viggo, who acted as guide and driver on our trips out of the blue.

September 2014. HouseTrip. Asta & Julius Matikas from London:
We feel still a bit over emotional to describe our experience at Casita Buen Viento.

It was the best holiday ever!!! We are couple in our middle thirties, who live, work and study in London. We felt exhausted of our busy and stressful city life and we were looking for something different for our holiday.

We find everything we were looking for at Casita Buen Viento and even more than we may expect to! We stayed in this place for seven nights and it still seems as a movie, or book, or just dream…

Casita Buen Viento is located in the middle of olives plantation, between sea and gigantic mountains. The place is so special and spiritual that it is impossible to describe it.

It is impossible to evaluate the view directly from your bed when you are opening eyes at the morning, or lazy siesta time in the hammock under olive’s tree, or swimming in the pool on the middle of night with the lightning and thunder in mountains…

The fantastic beaches, unique, mesmerizing mountain views, cosy, warm, and soo Spanish L’Ampolla, 2 hours travel to Barcelona, wonderful local people, real food and heady wine … The property is so romantic, authentic and charming! Our love and the best wishes forever to landlords to Mr and Mrs Peetz!! WARNING: The place is not recommended for people who are looking for all inclusive and busy night life.

September 2014 Maéva Louis has left a review for your property Casita Buen Viento. By House Trip

The place is wonderful, quiet, with a stunning view on the mountains and the olive trees.

The house is rustic and full of charm. It’s a perfect place to isolate yourself from the world, to rest and read in a hammock, or make a barbecue, watch to the stars…

My favourite moments were the breakfasts under the trees, in the morning sun.

There are some beautiful beaches not so far. I would definitely recommend this place !

September 2014 airbnb review to HomeAway.  Andrey, Olga, Savva (4 years) from Moscow

The place is exactly as on pictures and it’s nice and quiet. There are nice sandy beaches and almost empty in 25 minutes drive, you can also rent a boat or take a boat trip over the Delta. Tamara and Viggo were very kind and helpful hosts, Indicated all interesting places on the map. Most of all I liked the outdoor shower :) Very refreshing.

June 2014 Morvan (airbnb) and 3 friends from Barcelona

Very nice rustic place run by a very nice person. Ideal to relax and enjoy the delta de l´Ebre. Everything was very clean, no noise at all, hammock, BBQ and good local olive oil! Thank you again Viggo!

 A nice change of scenery

Marts 2014 (Google translation from French)

Warm and benevolent in Viggo and Tamara’s beautiful and relaxing home. The kids had a great experience (7 and 9 years). Rustic interior suitable for an antique Casita with wood burning stove / fireplace and built-in outdoor grill. We were staying here for a week in March 2014. Very exotic. We will return!

November 2013 (House Trip) Johannes and  Sabine from Hamburg in Germany: (Translated from German)

We were here two people for a week in the beautiful secluded cottage in an olive grove.

It is set up as shown in the photos and very cosy with the unique charm of Viggo and Tamara.

If you follow the directions of Viggo, it is easy to find. The kitchen is outside of the house, but is equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is newly tiled and the shower is nice and warm and has sufficient water pressure when you turn on the pump. Mosquitoes from the nearby Ebro Delta gave us only a few. Viggo, the host is very helpful and has lots of tips for excursions into the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed the Casita and the stars in the nights and will book again soon.
We give 5 stars for: Listing accuracy / Great location / Communication / Value for money / Cleanliness / Easy check-in.

August 2013 Phillippe, 6 guest from Marseilles France (Airbnb)

Independent house and wild nature! Basic comfort to fully enjoy this remarkable place. Night with starry skies in the hammocks! Viggo, the owner is extremely friendly and available. The house is located 20 minutes from uncrowned – even in August – beautiful wild beaches (Marquesa) The delta of the algebra is a Spanish Camargue. A very good place!

August 2013 Jan Willem Baggerman family from Holland (Spain Holliday)

If you like simple, rural, peace, nature, horses, dogs, nice company and… olives: the Casita of Viggo and Tamara is the place to be!

Highlights during our two weeks visit were the outdoors shower next to the barbecue (especially at sunset when you’re preparing the BBQ), the outdoor kitchen, the beautiful view over the olive trees in the valley, drinking coffee under the 700 year old olive tree with curious horse heads over your shoulder, the power and sweetness of Elektra, the more than interesting talks with Viggo over a Cuba Libre and the healing talents of Tamara. We had a great time! Love to come back!

June 2013. Carla. 3 persons from Barcelona (airbnb)

Viggo’s & Tamara’s la Casita is the best place to relax and rest away from the city.

I definitively recommend la Casita to anyone who is looking for a rustic place surrounded by nature and with beaches nearby.

Viggo and Tamara are the perfect hosts there always try to make your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. I would definitively return.

April 2013  Lillian@rejsenfordig.dk Subject: Working holiday in the olive grove

Dear Tamara and Viggo,

Thanks for some wonderful days in the olive grove at Easter. You are beautiful, warm, spacious and service-minded and it was some days I will never forget! Dinners with you with the delicious food, I can almost still taste.

I am looking forward to come down to you in week 44 along with the other participants in the olive picking holidays. Lots of love Lillian

October 2012 Valentina & Matthias, Berlin Germany plus 2 friends from Barcelona.

Dear Viggo, Extracts from a e.mail: …. all the best wishes from Berlin, we had such a great time at your place!

September 2012 Alistair (Bristol, UK) writes at Airbnb:

This is a great place to stay if you want a comfortable, peaceful and natural environment. Just as the description says, you’re surrounded by olive groves (and carob trees) and you have plenty of your own space, including a great semi-outdoor kitchen, some great views, and your own private balcony. Plus Viggo is a great host and a really nice, interesting person to talk to and there’s a horse and a cat and a dog and fresh figs and grapes and even champagne in the fridge. What more could you ask for !?

August 2012. Anne and Stine from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Thank you very much for the loan of your lovely, cosy little house. We have enjoyed very much to be here! Thank you for your kindness and guidance related to excursions and beautiful beaches, it was super good! Love from Anne and Stine.

……. I think that you are a very unique person, that many people could benefit from by meeting

September 2011. Lone & Hans Humlebäk, Denmark.Extracts from the a mail! So there has been a little quiet on again after we got home. The weather has been very bad ever since, rain, wind and very little sun so we yearn to return. Thank you for your great hospitality. It was a great experience to visit you and see how you’ve arranged yourself.

It is a very beautiful place you have been. Magnificent scenery and a lavish landscape. It was also a

great experience to drive around the countryside with you; it’s very diverse, ranging from mountain trip to the lovely beaches. The cozy evenings on the terrace where we talked about anything and everything and about the past. There appeared many memories. We enjoyed to the fullest to be a guest with you. It will be interesting to follow the development of your project. On the way home we drove straight in at Mistral Bonsai, it was very impressive to see the many and large bonsai. I wanted to try to create some of our home brought plants from our many trips into bonsai, I have the time to do so

2010  September – Hanne Olesen Denmark, Odense. January 2013-01-21:Dear Viggo, In the afternoon we saw a very beautiful expulsion from Sweden to the Pyrenees nature, birds, fauna, etc.

It immediately got John to find our video from last trip with you in September 2010, and you know what we were quite touched to see it again. Re-Liver your generous hospitality, your humor and your resilience compared to the life we have seen for you – a real life artist you are!
We saw the also your fine meals, lunch under the big olive tree, your amazing pasta and mussels, not to mention all the stories from our and your life that we shared. You are a great friend and we are very happy that we met you and Tamara for so many years ago – and you should know that even if we are not seen as often, so we often talk about you and all our friends know you by publicity and ask us from time to time: “when should I visit Viggo?” And we will, but we do not know when. But we have a great desire to meet with you again and look forward to making it possible. We will also take this opportunity to say that you are welcome to join us at any time.
Hugs from John and Hanne
